MagentaScribe was born from a conversation with a friend, a novice novelist trying to get published. From this conversation it was clear that there is a need for help and support to get the writer to meet their goal. We would like to do our part to connect writers with the world.
While we realize that the Internet has countless resources on this topic, as well as services that are offered to help you get your work published out there many can be quite expensive. It is our goal to be a hub/community that is a one stop “shop” where writers can come to find the latest information and services that they would need. This way they do not have to spend countless hours trying to track it all down themselves. They can spend that time writing instead. We are working towards offering services for promoting work via social media, formatting for self publishing, a pool of beta readers for author’s works, and even book trailer production.
We are building a community here at MagentaScribe, your participation to make us all successful. Contact us with ideas of what you would like to see here. We are also going to be offering services in the coming months, either in-house at MagentaScribe or trusted referrals of people we partner with.
The driving force behind MagentaScribe is the love for the written word.
Founders
I have never thought of myself as a “writer”, I was told by a teacher in college that she didn’t like my style of writing. She noted it more than one time on my papers during my stint in the class. This caused me to shy away from writing for public consumption. I still would write, when I was upset or when I am happy.
While I have never had a book published, I spend a large amount of time researching the process out of personal curiosity. I know a few people who are either just beginning this process or have been at the process for some time now. Magenta Scribe is the place that I want to be able to help other novice writers obtain their dream of being published.
